I love Cathedral !!! Everything from their early super dense doom metal to their more lively stoner metal of today. Great band !!!

Too bad FP left we have a lot of bands in common.

Strange how some things in life repeat themselves. Last year me and good friend Sweaty went to the Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales.....only to miss CATHEDRAL doing a special 2 sets special gig in LONDON on the same date in December.
Well by coincidence....this year we are giving the festival a miss because CATHEDRAL are playing again on the same date .The "scary" thing is rumour has it , it may be CATHEDRALs final gig because theres rumours saying that they are to disband.
So not taking any chances, tickets are booked !
Also added to the bill are COMUS [ Ye old 70s acid/folk rock band...check out thread ]..........Very interesting !!

That is correct Lou, can't wait to see them, have liked them for years and have started to sctuslly buy their albums

That gig is going to be a little belter, 4 bands I think and Comus (Yikes) they will be interesting to say the least.

I also like Saxon's Witchfinder General, was the first track they played when I saw them a few years ago in sheffield.

I envy you Engilsh lads. You get all the cool stuff either in England or you can just travel over into Europe and see all the stuff I am missing here in this big stinky core and rap infested place where I live.
