A King Diamond tribute band? Eh, well somebody's got to do it.
There's a first time for everything.
I'd love to contribute more thoughts but I am off to a rehearsal with my band, we pay tribute solely to the Ray Wilson era of Genesis.

King Diamond chick tribute band? 
Something about a gal singing King Diamond just doesn't impress me that much. Then again, I'm not a big fan of KD anyway. Good music, but I liked his Mercyful Fate (from the 80's) much more than the KD stuff, where his falsetto kinda grinds on me. Back on track, the rest of the band does a decent job with Abagail, but....
... but ... The Iron Maidens ****ing rock. I've got their album and the whole thing is pretty damn good. Musically, they are spot on. The vocals aren't too shabby either. IM's will win this battle with me every single time.

Agreed. When I first heard of them, I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be very corny and the vocals wouldn't be that good and all, but they've definitely got a large set of talent.

My favorite female tribute band was Thundherstruck, an all-female AC/DC tribute outfit.
