^^ Thanks runtfan

Sorry Groovy, don't hear the Time Warp or Rocky Horror Picture show at all.

:uh:

Nor a musical or bad musical for that matter. Mock Opera yes. Pretty cool IMO. I still voted for Paul for my own reasons, but Freddie's got talent. As far as sounding feminie? Don't really see that as a bad thing. This could be said about lots of rock singers who sing in a higher range. Especially applying emotion to a ballad....I'd perfer to say it shows a more sensitive side.

But if it's rougher vocals we're after...here we go...

Headlong

Rougher vocal for Macca

Looking For Changes

Almost similar styles to my ears.

In fact..here's a little clip from Sir Paul McCartney. His own thoughts on Freddie' vocal style.

Agree with the majority, McCartney wins it. Mercury was without doubt a superb frontman, his singing is on the other hand not the best. Some have stated that Paul Rodgers was better in Queen - don't know about that! Is Rodgers the best singer of the three - without a shadow of doubt he is.

Paul has a great voice, but just the range of Freddie's voice does it for me.

And to go slightly away from the topic, yeah I also think Paul Rodgers has an amazing voice. As voices go, just listen carefully to Graham Bonnet with Only One Woman and to Roy Orbison.

Which majority do you speak of? Freddie is in the lead. :heheh::grinthumb

I am surprised, must have been an influx of Freddie fans since I was here last night, Paul was up by one or two votes.
