A List Of New/Unknown Bands That Rock

I know how hard it is to find new/unknown bands that really rock, since mainstream rock just plain sucks. So I thought that I would help people find some great new music to listen to after I did an extensive search myself when I was looking for new bands that actually rock. I decided to post what I discovered here - so you don't have to go desperately looking yourself. I hope you like it.

Check out these bands, I am sure you will find one that you love. Most of these bands have a hard rock/classic rock thing going on. Some of them are not new bands, as they may have a few albums out but no one really knows who they are.

Black Stone Cherry are brilliant IMO .. great live (they ripped Download a couple of years ago) and two great albums so far.

I put the list together, because I see people on hard rock boards always saying that there are not really enough great rock bands these days and usually people mention the same 5 or 6 known bands like Black Stone Cherry when recommending new bands.

Take as much time as you want, but I hope that I put some of you on a journey of music discovery. It took me a long time to find many of these bands, so I am doing the work for you.
