Re: Johnny Winter

Didn't Johnny Winter do work with the Rolling Stones? If not the Stones, it was a pretty famous band. I know he did work with Muddy Waters.

^^ He certainly covered a few of the Stones songs RS and he is a big fan of their music (mutual respect I reckon) but I don't know if he worked with them directly ???

Aw that's a shame. I really like his cover of Jumping Jack Flash though.

^^^That's excellent, DKW! I know Johnny does both put on one helluva show, and he's an awesome guitarist, imo! He's one of the best blues guitarists that I've had the privilege to experience in concert. I think you'll have a great time with that show and look forward to hearing your comments, reading your posts and reviews along with more fellow rockers here, although Sox might be more than a little envious of you, I know I am, a little, myself! :D

Well Sox is always going to see all kinds of NWOBHM bands that will never come over here so I don't feel that bad for him :D
