Hey guys,

Who seems to be carrying music by these guys anymore? They were a flash in the pain but now and again, Sirius channel 23 stops playing nonsense and will actually run "Forever Young" which is probably one of my all time favorite "post-80s" metal tracks that got some decent airplay in LA.

I'd love to hear more of their stuff but I can't find their records anywhere. Anybody ever heard of these guys?

Re: Tyketto

I am a big Journey and Foreigner fan, and Tyketto fits right in nicely with these two bands, although, they are just a bit heavier. I am a fan!

I haven't heard anything from them in ages, I think I am gonna spin

Re: Tyketto

Oh my God! That is GREAT news! I've been looking for their recordings for the last couple of years so to hear about this re-issue is fantastic news. I sure hope that more of these guys' stuff ends up getting re-issued. I had to buy a used import of Shotgun Messiah's "Second Coming" (1991)... Cost me over $25!

Re: Tyketto

Lead singer Danny Vaughan did a really good solo album about 5 years ago that I was playing on the radio for awhile. If I remember to get back into this thread, I'll link you to it. Otherwise you can just Google/Wikipedia him easily enough for a title (I'm at the office working).

I was talking to him by email for a month or two. Nice guy. If I had actually applied myself, I probably could have gotten a phone in interview with him on my radio show but one of the problems was I didn't know dick about Tyketto (and still don't).

However, I'll never interview an artist over the air that I don't have a whole lot of knowledge on, just for a cheap ratings push or whatever. It isn't the way professionals do things in my opinion.

Danny Vaughan is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. If you get a chance to have a chat with him, go for it. A very honest and talented guy.
