I don't see Ronnie Van Zant making the top ten. Mick Jagger definitely will though.

:heheh:

Iggy Pop and The Stooges are so overrated these days, it's a joke.

Iggy Pop is a putz.

Dude are you serious? He is with out question one of the best front man all time and still is going at his age.

The band is anyhting but overrated. They are highly inflluential.

Really are questioning whether you truly know anything about music when you make comments like this.

As was said earlier, just because you don't like an artist doesn't mean they couldn't have been influential. Iggy Pop's music has influenced many people, and he is still going strong at 63.

Iggy Pop just influenced more bad music, that about it.

So there, I gave him credit.

Same thing with Johhny Rotten.

They were both influential, regardless of what you think of their music or what it influenced. You have to realize that it isn't all about you or your opinion; I don't care much for the Sex Pistols either, but I never argue with the idea that they're very influential.

But...

Iggy Pop and The Sex Pistols influencing more crappy bands isn't a opinion.

Every big band influenced a lot of crappy music. The Stones influenced ****ing hair metal and every obnoxious cock rock band in history, the Velvet Underground influenced a slew of just terrible music, and you can blame just about everything awful that's ever happened in the history of rock music after the 60's on the Beatles.

As far as I can see, Iggy and Johnny have a much better batting average than most other acts.
