I know next to nothing about this album, sorry. Wikipedia has no entry for Freddy (or Fred as he started going by later) Bliffert and Discogs only lists this one album by him even though there are other performances on YouTube and it seems like he played in other bands as well. There are also numerous musicians on this album, but Discogs only lists him. Anyway, I enjoyed the folk rock contained within and thought I'd share it with you guys if you hadn't heard it before. My favorite song on the album is "If I Had Wings," but all the songs are a real hoot (give a listen and you'll see what I mean). Oh yeah, this apparently came out in '72.

Truly obscure...its a private pressing from 1972.... Not even on his own website here.....

Not really my type of folk rock but it has a few decent tracks. Sort of folk rock meets country meets home grown Americana/pop rock.

Good find, the only guy I recall with similar name was in Jelly, think they were on the Eagles label?
You are probably thinking of 'Skip Bifferty' band which later became Heavy Jelly but for only 2 tracks.
I have the 1968 Skip Bifferty lp on cd (and Heavy Jelly song on a comp cd)....btw there was no one by that name. ;) (BTW..there was another Heavy Jelly led by Jackie Lomax...not the same as the Skip Bifferty people.)
Not hijacking the thread but the best Skip Bifferty track from 67

Thanks, I just remember the odd name, because a rep from Asylum Records used to give me records to play... I'll do some digging here,
Regards...
(Hope that meal was good!)

Meal was nice but the atmosphere was better....the food was good but not something I was used to.
Unusual tastes at times with trendy preparations.
