Am I allowed to say that I still think Blink 182 sucks or must I find a different way of expressing my view of the band?
I agree, they do nothing for me. That's the nicest way I think I can put it Sum41 doesn't either for that matter.

Re: Blink 182: A Hard Roooooccckkkiiin' Punk Band
Blink 182= musical masturebation. They are simple and not entirely fulfilling but they get the job done time and time again. It is a life dream of mine to go to a Blink show. And actually in a sense they are a large reason for my love of all things punk
HEre's an absolute favourite song of mine
As for them being emo they released this song a while back basically opposing emo.
the one thing blink 182 that set them apart from all the other california pop punk bands was two lead singers. Mark and Tom are polar opposite of eaching other as far as singing tone. Tom has a voice that sound pre pubescent while Mark's voice is much deeper. Sometimes Mark would sing the verse and Tom would sing the chorus or visa versa. Having two singers gave the band an interesting dynamic and influenced another pop punk band The Starting Line that follow their model.
I was 10 when I first heard them haha. remember getting my friends into punk rock through blink 182 and then I found harder punk rock bands such as pennywise, sex pistols, black flag etc.
