A friend sent me a Cd a couple of years that was supposed to be Scott Soto and today I made this video from the cd.. A great power ballad.. Come to find out the band is called Skrapp Mettle and Scott did do the vocals on it. They recorded it in a abandoned warehouse..It sounds like David Coverdale..
^^^^ Not a fan of the Nuge personally but that song and whole album ( tape ) was the soundtrack of my life at that time.18, Had a job, a girl, in a band. Life was good. That song really brings back memories.

This one is obviously just a re-write of Don't Stop Believin' (Cain and Schon both co-wrote and performed on the song), but I'm honestly going to have to say I prefer it to the "real deal"

I'm pretty sure that ~is~ David Coverdale. I have the Skrapp Mettle CD (or tape, can't remember which) from the early 90's. Soto was a band called Eyes when that came out, which was a band I liked. His voice was very distinct at that time and sounded pretty much the same on all songs and on all of the projects he was working with. I don't think this song is by Skrapp or Soto, but I could be wrong. I remember most of their songs being VERY much "cock rock" type tunes, singing about chicks and getting some tail.
Good job on the video though, and this definitely is a song worthy of being in this thread!
