I became a fan of Billy's right after seeing the video for "White Wedding" when it first was released. It was at a huge night club called Uncle Sam's in the Buffalo, NY area. The place had 2 big screen TV's that played music videos & "White Wedding" had such a cool creepy sound to it.
I know their are a few Best of & Anthology Generation X compilations out there but I highly recommend searching for their Kiss Me Deadly album from '80/'81 becauses there's one song that to me rises above anything Idol has ever done & that song is "What Do You Want" which is one song I always include on any Punk compilation I make up. This is one song that needs to be heard by everyone

How can you say he's never taken seriously? He was give a lot of stick in the UK and thats why we lost him due to small mindedness, our bad and also loss.

I love "Scream". It's my favorite Billy Idol song and I am sooooooooo thrilled to see that other people love it. Most everyone I talk to has never even heard of it.
