I was never a big KISS fan. They have a good selection of songs I like, but overall, just not into them. Maybe it was the make-up thing that kept me at bay

Certified 11/28/77 Shipped Platinum certified in November 1977. According to the KISS Army Newsletter of early 1978 the album had attained 2X platinum status. Attained 2X platinum sales on 2/26/96

Double Platinim Certified 5/16/78 "Double Platinum" didn't ship certified, and would take over a month to attain Platinum status

Just a question, for anyone more knowledgable about KISS than I.

With the 4 solo albums released in 1978 from the KISS members, for some reason many music based sites such as Last.fm as well as sites such as Wikipedia and YouTube comment sections all seem to disagree as to whether they are KISS albums, or solo albums. To me, it always seemed obvious that they are solo albums, does anyone know where the controversy as to the artists comes from?
