Earth Wind And Fire's Been mentioned.. But this first album is one of their best..


Funky Stuff by Kool and the Gang was a big hit in the 70's..


Sly and the family Stone was known for this hit besides the populars..


Instant Funk was loads of fun..Disco maybe... But this song was a big hit after the disco days..

Lord Grendel earlier posted a couple of Brothers Johnson songs. Here's one that hasn't been posted and although Strawberry Letter #23 is better remembered, this one was actually the bigger hit reaching #3 in 1976.
