Just came across this cool rendition of Eric Church's That's Damn Rock and Roll from the Country Music Awards, featuring Lzzy Hale (from Halestorm).

Better than the original, Lzzy really helps rock it up with her vocals.

^^ Lzzy rules! One of the best young female vocalists out there. I'm a fan of Eric Church as well and I like the original version, but that one ROCKS!

Now listening to:

^^ Haven't heard that one yet. It's basically an EP, right? I have the album "Uncaged", which is a really good album.

Yeah, and I was hoping for a little more rough edges and a rock feel because of Grohl's influence but still a good solid Country EP. I just have You Get What You Give. Not sure what to think. They aren't bad but their images make them seem way more dark, outlaw than the music comes off.

Got a bunch of my favorite country loaded up on a USB drive for my trip up north, of course plenty of rock but sometimes it's nice to take a break from non-stop rock on the 4 hr drive.

Threw a bunch of Garth one one of the USB drives, including this little number

Garth Brooks - Shameless (also one of the greatest cover songs of all time IMHO)
