Yes, the Damn Band is the band you see in all the videos posted in this thread
and is his band while he is playing as Hank III.

He also has a band that plays hillbilly/punk rock stuff ( heavy on the punk )
called Assjack.
III usually closes the last part of the live set w/ Assjack.

Was supposed to see him with my ex, but that won't happen. It will be hard to catch him with friends of mine since they do not listen to this type of music at all haha.

I was first made aware of him through SuperJoint Ritual . Someone told
me that the bassist was Hawk Williams the third, and that he plays Alt. Country
w/ a strong punk attitude in his own band , and so even though Country really isn't my thing I had to give him a listen . I obviously love his stuff now ,thous the thread

I really want to see them live.

haha yea I was listening to some of the bands he was in and my ex saw the name and wanted to check out his solo stuff.

went on youtube listened and liked it alot.

Yea I'm not big into country either, but it has grown on me big time.

Some of it I liked, some not as much. He reminds me a lot more of Hank the First than Jr, aside from the foul mouth (which no, it doesn't bother me).
