Not a problem! I'm honestly a Lennon fan more than anything (cliche I know) but I never understood the criticism towards McCartney. Honestly after discussing in another thread about whether the Beatles were more pop or rock it's recently occured to me that Paul was the member who leaned towards being a rock artist more than any of the members and I respect that!

With the Beatles Lennon was probably better than Paul...But post Beatles, Lennon was pretty lousy IMO. Even Ringo's couple of good songs were way better than anything Lennon did post Beatles. It's almost a Twilight Zone episode how he went from one extreme to another (and the common thread in the loss of his great talents--Yoko).

But I digress...McCartney is a bad ass--and is king of this post Beatle elimination--as he should be.

tomcat, you seem to hate Yoko. I thought John wrote a lot of great songs about Yoko. e.g. Woman, (Just Like) Starting Over

I have to agree with you there. Yoko's one of the people in the world that should be permanently banned from making music, as she has caused too many migraines with her music.
