As much as I love Queen, I have to go with AC/DC on this one. Highway to Hell released just a few months before I turned 16 and that was a crucial time for me to be exposed to such a great album.

"Highway to Hell" is my favorite AC/DC album but "A Night At The Opera" is groundbreaking. It took the studio and turned it into almost an instrument itself and then stretched it's potential to it's absolute limits. I love the stripped down riff rock of Bon Scott's last album but it is trumped by what a lot of people call Queen's magnum opus. | |

How does one determine what the better album is? By originality, setting standards or how many times you played the record. This time I'll choose the second one. So it is Highway to Hell.
