Great thread, MP. I had no idea you were a fellow traveler.

For some reason I'm not seeing many of the links. Is your "Silver Spoon" Nesmith link actually "Silver Moon," or was there a song of his of which I was not aware?

I love all the Nesmith Monkee material, as well as most of his post-Monkee work (I say that only because some of it is hard to find, so my collection is far from complete). And besides "Different Drum" he had a couple of other early songs recorded by Ronstadt and the Dirt Band, "Some of Shelly's Blues" and "Propinquity"

This isn't the Dirt Band, since there don't appear to be any vids out there of their version, but Nesmith hisself:

I never did as a kid, but as an adult who collects 1:18 scale metal diecasts I want to open a wing for TV cars such as the Monkeemobile, the Batmobile, The Munster Wagon (and/or Dragula), the 32 Ford Coupe from American Graffiti, etc, etc...

Maybe after your gig at the kit kat club?

Otherwise pictures will have to suffice.
