Think this Polish Death Metal group deserves a thread. Formed in 1983, and I have to say this band has quickly risen up my favourite metal band lists. I have 2 of their albums Necropolis and 2011s Welcome To The Morbid Reich. Having heard some of their music I say this band is consistently good, there are death metal bands who lately have tended to dip and really go on a downward spiral ie Morbid Angel. But Vader have been consistently solid and put out some great albums. I still need to seek out their early stuff, I only managed to hear bits and pieces of their early material but I enjoyed what I heard.

Current members
Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek – guitar and vocals
Marek "Spider" Pająk – guitar
James Stewart - drums
Tomasz "Hal" Halicki – bass

Discography
The Ultimate Incantation (1992)

De Profundis (1995)

Black to the Blind (1997)

Litany (2000)

Revelations (2002)

The Beast (2004)

Impressions in Blood (2006)

Necropolis (2009)

Welcome to the Morbid Reich (2011)

Tibi et Igni (2014

To pick out 2 songs I enjoyed. Here are those 2 I think people here should check out if they want to try some Vader.
The Crucified Ones

Welcome To The Morbid Reich

One Step To Salvation

Dark Age

I love Vader, one of my top ten Death Metal bands. I own De Profundis ,
Future of the Past , Black to the Blind, Litany , Revelations , XXV, Necropolis and recently ordered 2011's Welcome to the Morbid Reich, all on CD. I also own the awesome live DVD, VADER ~ And Blood Was Shed In Warsaw.

In fact this thread has inspired me to toss my DVD into my player in few..

Glad you like the bands I have recently made threads for, seem to be in top form in that area.
But yeah I wanna get all the Vader albums, the stuff I have heard was top notch death metal. Them and Entombed are the 2 bands lately I have become quite a fan of.

Really love Necropolis, the opening track Rise of the Undead is killer.

Impure is another great track.

This was the only track of theirs I'd heard prior to seeing this thread, definitely going to look into them further

Vader together with Behemoth built up a strong death metal scene in Eastern Europe and they are considered as Polish best music export of all genres. They don't get as much credit in Poland as they have outside though. You know... strong conservative thing.

I'm pretty much a fan of the Polish Death Metal scene. Other then the two obvious big name Death Metal bands hailing from Poland I'm also into Decapitated, Azarath, Deivos, Trauma, Hell-Born and Nomad. Acid Drinkers and Dragon are two kick ass Polish Thrash bands that I like a lot as well.
