I've only ever heard 'Endtyme' (one of a collection of CDs that was later stolen
) but I loved it. When my mother got curious about my music and wanted to hear it properly to find out 'what was wrong with me', I chose this album as it was the, erm, gentlest metal album I owned at the time. My mother's face went purple, she began shaking violently, and she struggled to say 'What must the neighbours think, I hope they can't hear this' or words to that effect
I saw them supporting Cradle Of Filth a few years ago, and was quite surprised because they were a lot more aggressive live than on that album, with growling and screaming vocals if I remember rightly, and Lee Dorrian pretending to hang himself with the mic wire during 'Hopkins The Witchfinder'
My mates and I saw him pacing up and down outside the venue afterwards, well, more like skulking in a rather sinister manner
I wanted to talk to him, but I was too scared because of the way he was acting
When I later mentioned this to my mate, all he said was 'Oh, I thought I recognised him from somewhere'
