Journey - August 2009

I went and saw Journey up at Rochester, NY this summer. This concert was truly amazing.

At first I was skeptical about seeing them because I'm a huge Steve Perry fan. To my suprise, Arnel Pinada put on a stunning performance of each of Journey's classic hits. Such as: Lights, Don't Stop Believin', Open Arms, and Faithfully. Of course they played all they're other great hits, but those are just a few I love.

Neal Schon, Ross Valory, and Jonathan Caine all were great! You can't beat a Neal Schon solo, or the random faces of Ross as he plays. And how can you forget the amazing solo and intro before Open Arms by Jonathan Caine. All three of those guys complete Journey.

Overall, I would rate the concert a 10/10. Everything went great! I wish I had better seats closer to the stage, but you know what, at least I got to see these guys! Real incredible and a concert I will never forget!

And Rochester is a nice place too! Have you ever had the ribs at the Dinosaur BBQ?

No I haven't actually! My aunt took everyone from my family there except me It's disappointing as I love ribs haha. I'll head out there soon enough.
