Thanks guys! I saw Ryan live and it's funny because it was during his Rock N Roll era but he didn't play a single song from it. It was all older songs from his catalog and newer songs that he wrote since forming his project with a band, The Cardinals. I was lost as far as knowing the material at the time but the show was performed great and I saw that he had a shitload of great material to discover from that point on. |

Thanks for adding! How can I get those albums? Does it have to be through a torrent or something? |

| Re: "The Official" Ryan Adams Thread I'd heard so much about him for so long that when sifting through CDs at our local library and found a bunch of his, I decided to check them out. So far I've only heard Follow the Lights and I like it a lot. And he's one of the few artists I can actually get from this very lame (but very cheap - $6.95 w free shipping) record club I belong to, so I guess I'll be stocking up.
For some reason I'm thinking my wife and I saw him perform at the Indiana State Fair a number of years ago, but I could be wrong. At any rate, there's something very familiar about his singing voice, and I can't quite place it.

| Re: "The Official" Ryan Adams Thread Sunny my favorite album of his is Rock N' Roll which was a break in style for him but my favorite album of his to check out is Cold Roses which has some of his best Alt-Country on it IMO! Feel free to let me know what you think if you get to check any of his albums out! |
