This is a simple and fun game, and I've seen it be successful elsewhere.

Basically, I'll post a video or link to a song, then the next poster rates it, then posts a song of their choice!

Please remember to be thorough in your ratings, try to avoid things like "It was good", tell us why you thought that you did of the song, why you gave it the rating you did and try and make a decent review out of it!

I'll start with a Genesis track, naturally:



Visions Of Angels, from the album Tresspass.

I have to say, very nice song, calm but still that typical sound we know of the old Genesis. Nice build-up of the song to the chorus and the voice of Peter Gabriel is brilliant!

Next song is one of my all-time favorites:

I like the variety of Cat Empire, so I'll rate that song 7/10.

That is a very big song. I'd give it....an 8.6. The Verve really nailed it with that song.

LG, I'm familiar with The Brazilian, it's one of the stronger tracks from Invisible Touch. Not as good as Domino though

I've never heard of Hockey but this is alright. A very interesting new wave sound. I'll give them a 7/10.

i absolutely love that dresden dolls track. my daughter turned me onto that s/t cd (via the song coin-operated boy), but it grew on me fast.

Anyway, Hockey are an up and coming indie band, released their debut album last year.

Kath, that sounds like a sappy 80's pop ballad, except I can't make out what they're singing, so unfortunately a 5/10 XD

Took a bit for that song to get going. Her voice reminds me a bit of Regina Spektor only without the lispy accent. It was a cool song. I'd give it aaaaaaaa.....7.4/10
