List up your top 10 metal albums.

When I first began listening to metal, I had no clue that was what the music was called. I just knew it was some "good" stuff. It was a far cry from Journey, Foreigner, and Styx, which what I normally listenend. Anyway here are my top 10.

1. Blizzard of Oz ~ Ozzy Osbourne
2. Live Evil ~ Black Sabbath
3. Appetite for Destruction ~ Guns N Roses
4. Balls to the Wall ~ Accept
5. Vivid ~ Living colour
6. Master of Puppets ~ Metallica
7. Number of the Beast ~ Iron Maiden
8. Dr. Feelgood ~ Motley Crue
9. Back in Black ~ AC/DC
10. Reign in Blood ~ Slayer

I like all of those bands/albums but they are not my top ones today. They could have been when they first came out, but I like the new stuff too. I will get a list going.

Yea, I will agree with you Shaggy, I listen to alot of the new stuff. But my all time faves go back to the old stuff

Black Album - Metallica
Master of Illusion - Power Quest
Northwind - Falconer

uhm, those are my my top 5 for sure.

Absolutely love "Blizzard of Ozz". I've never really considered "Appetite" (Or Guns in general for that matter) to be metal. I've always thought of them as the epitome of hard rock.

Dio - Holy Diver
Dio - The Last in Line
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast
Judas Priest - British Steel
Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather
Metallica - Master of Puppets
Metallica - ... And Justice For All
Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil

And for the record, I'm hesitant on calling Back in Black a metal album. For me, it's easily a top 5 album of all time, regardless of genre, but I'd typically just call it hard rock, classic rock, or something along those lines. I fee the same way about Appetite for Destruction. In-freakin'-credible hard rock albums, but just not sure they'd be 'metal' *shrug*

Ask me again next week, I may change my mind.
