It's okay, but I like the Skull...I wonder why he didn't release it as one set in the first place...oh well the important thing is we Both have a complete Avantasia collection and I am looking forward to his new one, I will depend on you to let me know when it's out.

I hope not at the same time..heard it was a double BUT released as two seperate discs I think.

Smart move in a way I guess. $$$$

I'm still getting them. I think my brain will explode with that much new Avantasia all at once.

I'll be sure to "Duck & Cover" in that case...lol.

It does make economic sense I guess, but when it's a concept album I would like the whole work all at once.

That sure sounds like Klaus Meine from the Scorpions with Tobias in this video. He always gets the cream of the crop to join in Avantasia projects.

Good stuff, can't wait for the next CD.

I just saw the video of the new Avantasia song then decided to see if anybody had started a thread. I had heard of Edguy but never checked out the music.
I guess I have some new music to start buying.

From the stuff I have been listening to,it all sounds great.I don't know why I never checked it out before. But at least I am now

There is a great Edguy thread here Fever...Edguy are a great band! Tobias does all the writing for that band and they have the Pop metal songs, epic ballads and the epic 15 minute Maiden type tunes.

I have all of Avantasia's albums, including the newest double CD that came out a few days ago.

I have played it 3 times, and I really like it. But it is going to take a few more listens to totally take it all in MP. Seeing I like Edguy and Avantasia I claim heavy bias of course.

I am sure you will enjoy it, Tobias sounds great, and so does everyone else he invited in to play on this one, including Gamma Ray's guitarist/keyboardist Henjo Richter.:
