Default Dropping Daylight

Dropping Daylight

While I'm on the piano rock kick after doing my last thread I feel it's the perfect time to drop this awesome act! I have no background for finding this group other than chance but I can say I've got them live and they have to be the hardest hitting piano rock group I've ever heard. So much intensity and energy from these guys! They have one full album out:

Brace Yourself

Here are some tracks:

Brace Yourself
(crappy fan vid)

Soliquoy

Till You Feel Something

Tell Me

I can agree with the general feeling of the music, the instrumental parts and the energy but I don't like his voice Sorry

I'll give them another chance when I don't have a headache though.

Not too bad, Sooty!

I do like piano rock......but I have to agree with OB, they need a better vocalist. But to be fair, I will pick up the album, then give it a better listen. "Tell Me" is a good song.

I'm honestly surprised about the vocal comments as I honestly think he's at least average there. I never listened and said, Wow, what vocals or anything but I don't hear the usual aspects that usually turn people off such as being off key or nasally. Actually, the vocalist does a lot of the keyboard work to as witnessed when I saw them live. Unfortunately, the youtube vids don't capture what I saw live. I hate the quality of youtube live footage. You guys are right though, it's the energy and the uniqueness of using piano/keyboards to do that that make them as good as they are.

I really like this rarity I just found from this band! It's comparatively somber next to their other material!

Back To Nowhere

These tunes are pretty cool. Soliloquy keeps freezing on me halfway. I like Brace Yourself as a song despite the crappy fan vid.
