Well I have to agree...and disagree. I'm not crazy about Claudio Sanchez's voice at all and he is the only singer I've ever heard that annoys me more than Geddy Lee. The rest of the band is great, but as a singer myself I think Claudio's voice almost ruins the entire band for me.
I remember the first time I heard them....."Welcome Home" came on the radio and I remember actually saying outloud "Wow this is really cool sounding." and then when the vocals came in a minute later I actually went "Awww....that's a crying shame...."

I have seen them live several times. Great band.

His voice IMO makes the band as good as they are besides their musicianship.

Some poeple have said he sounds like Geddy Lee....ehhh...a tiny bit may be there...but overall Claudio is pretty original.
