I got a couple more too. This one sorta went unnoticed:
And this one's only been out since November, but it's an absolute blinder!

| Re: Best of 2009 Gah, a classic rock forum and they've forgotten a very good release from one of the quintessential artists of the classic rock era
Also (and I'll get slammed from every Aussie from Perth to Melbourne for this one), I actually like Wes Carr's debut album
Also, if we come across any good albums this year, what section do we put it under? I believe it's a new decade |

Cool list Tiny Tim, I'll go through a few of the ones I don't have. If you had to pick the best 5 from your list what would they be? |

Well the first five but Isbell and Case are pretty country oriented, great songwriting though and Case's voice could melt steel. Knowing your tastes a little I would recommend Dinosaur Jr. and Muse in their place. That's assuming you have already heard Mastodon. |

I adore Jason Lytle, I have all the Granddady albums. I haven't heard his solo stuff yet. I'll check it out. Thanks for posting that.
I heard the samples on Amazon and I am buying the album. Just like Granddaddy - so beautiful!!
Yours Truly is indeed gorgeous...before I looked I thought the name of it was I'm Coming Home LOL
