Imo “Solas” is great. Definitely their most melodic and “Irish sounding” album to date. The band’s first two or three albums are phenomenal, but difficult to compare with, as they almost sound like a different band. One thing is for sure though; I think “Solas” is better than the previous two albums.

Melodic was part of the issue I had with it. Some of them felt not bad but not great either.

really don't understand the dishing out the dirt on " SOLAS " its different which is cool in my book............cosmic rock and roll band

I agree with you @joker1961, but I can also understand @Riff Raff's side of things. At the end of the day, there's no accounting for taste!

Don't worry, I never thought you were trying to upset anyone or be offensive, I just wanted to make the point, that I can fully understand if people who love older The Answer albums might have a problem with "Solas".

these guys aren't good there awesome....still don't understand why the new album is being prised as the mega ops of rock and roll that it is imho
