I've been here for a bit, but I've never really introduced myself. Name's Dan, I'm probably one of the youngest people on here (I'm exactly how old my profile says I am). I especially like talking about music and politics (I do have many established political views, especially when it comes to social issues).
I'm not necessarily into classic rock, but I am very into music and do listen to some classic rock. My top bands include Oasis, Dave Matthews Band, Coldplay, and Radiohead. Some bands I've been listening to a lot lately are Guster and Panic! At The Disco (I was recently tipped off to both of them). As you see, I mainly go for 1990s-2000s Alt. Rock. I'm very open to musical discussion and will give just about anything a listen. |

Thanks. I love how a lot of the people on this forum keep an open mind to new music, unlike a lot of people. One thing about me is that I rarely listen to the classic rock "staples," as most of them are burned out for me by now (I'm not much of a Boston fan). I listen to a huge variety of music (good example: I'm listening to my iPod on shuffle right now, something I do very frequently, and I'm listening to "Candle In The Wind" by Elton John right now, which came on right after "The Other Way" by Weezer). | |

Nice to see you introduce yourself Schindler...Sooty will enjoy your company for sure your taste seems to match up with his very well.
Of the bands you named,,,Radiohead would be my favorite. 
(We don't really do politics anymore, we found too many people were carrying their disputes into the music threads, so the old SDF was mothballed for now.) | |
