when making a post by selecting "new thread" or "post reply", there is an area below the box you type your message in. This area is called "Post Icons".

you may select one of those icons when you make a post.

you will notice I have placed a smilie face before this post.

The icon that appears before your review is a default icon. That icon represents a "written piece of paper". This icon appears on all posts when the author does not select another icon.

I hope this helps!!!
