| {Resolved} Connection reset: Am I the only one? I get this several times a day here. Sometimes it takes about 30 seconds before Firefox times out and I may have to hit the "try again" button 4 to 5 times before I actually get reconnected. IE has a similar page, but I don't use that from home anymore so I don't have a screenshot of it
Anyway, just wondering if it's my crappy internet connection at home, or does that happen to other people as well? Like I said, it happens to me quite a bit. *shrug* |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? Probably your internet connection,I used to get that all the time, on other sites....til I got a new router.
Everything is wonderful now.

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? Thing is, it only happens here on a regular basis. I've got a few other forums (and other sites) that i can still get to without any problem when it's happening here. If I lost all internet connectivity, I'd say you were right.

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? I must say I have never, ever had that message before. I have noticed some server lag lately, though.
Are you sure that isn't a firefox issue? |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? Nah, I would get the same thing in IE as well. Like I said above, when it happens, I can use firefox and hit other web forums with no problem, come back to the CRF window, hit Try Again, and sometimes it'll come back right away, but usually it takes a number of attempts to get reconnected. |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? I have had this site time out in IE...and I get the page
"Internet Explorer cannot display the web page".
Infact, that happened twice this morning. I only get that page if our server is lagging badly. |

Lynch try threatening your PC with a hammer or a "Tune Up" it'll never forget...maybe that will solve the problem. |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? and alas.... same general idea, but this is the IE version:
Of course, clicking "Diagnose connection problems" doesn't do a damn thing, but it's a nice big button, so it has that going for itself. |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? I get it too Lynch. Usually on the "night shift" (i.e. Middle of the day here)
Maybe they do server maintenance then when there's less traffic? |

| Re: Connection reset: Am I the only one? Lynch, I get that message on various forums so IMHO its either the internet connection or web site difficulties and with me it is usually website problems.
