| NBA Playoffs Anyone following the playoffs this year?
As a self-confessed basketball tragic, and a big fan of the Bucks, I'm currently in 7th heaven as far as the playoffs go, with the Bucks defeating the odds and going up 3-2 in their series against the Hawks
So, who's following the Playoffs, and who's gonna win?
PS. Say the Bucks or I'll hurt you |

| Re: NBA Playoffs Sorry I missed this one Feldy...a lot has happened since the Bucks lost to the Hawks...
I am not a big fan anymore, but I would like to see Phoenix win it all this year. Chances are it will be a Lakers vs Celtics final again this year, unless Orlando steps up their play. I think they were hurt by such an easy first two rounds against bad teams. |

| Re: NBA Playoffs I think Bill Russell, Tom Heinsohn, Bob Cousy, K.C. Jones and John Havlicek will be unbeatable yet again this year.

Yeah, yeah, very funny, I'm still scarred from that one
Anyway, I agree that it would probably be another Lakers/Celtics final, but I'm pulling for a Phoenix/Boston final personally at this stage (as I'm a big fan of Ray Allen, and I really can't stand the Lakers).
Boston/Orlando could be a sweep at this stage. |

| Re: NBA Playoffs Los Angeles Lakers are the NBA Champions for 2010.
Pretty good game to watch. Result didn't go the way I hoped, but that's life.
Bring on next season, I say |

| Re: NBA Playoffs Kevin Garnett is done Feldy, two years ago he was Gold in the playoffs the drop off this year is tangible and unmistakable.
I had no dawg in this fight, I used to dislike Kobe, but he has performed at such a high level for so long I have to respect his accomplishments.
There is no team right now that can beat the Lakers, and I don't think wherever LeBron James lands will make any difference next year. The Lakers have grown up and can play any style they want, the sign of a quality championship team. |

| Re: NBA Playoffs The Celtics couldn't hold their big early third quarter lead. Proof positive that Bob Cousy and Bill Russell have lost a step. It's time they started working in young Dave Cowens to spell Russell. |

I've never really liked the Lakers since the three-peat years with Shaq, and that's become ingrained with me, but I do have huge respect for Kobe's game. I agree they are the benchmark and they do play a mean game of basketball.
The Celtics, IMO, need to rebuild around Rajon Rondo, the kid's fast becoming a star... could even take over from Cousy, eh Fox?
End of the day, who knows who can challenge the Lakers for a top spot next year. If LeBron lands at the same team as either Wade or Bosh, things could work out. But as of now, LA are deserved favourites to get their 17th ring in 2011. |
