Indeed, their Twenty20 team is very balanced and powerful! They are in form at the moment too, so who knows what else they can do!

To be fair it would be nice if we had a few more Englishmen in the team

Ahh this thread makes me happy

So who's everyone's favorite teams?

Currently mine are

West Indies, well they have to be; home team, but I think T&Ts team did pretty well on their own at the club tournament in India. Really hope West Indies can get their act together, they have the talent but they're too sloppy and make too many stupid mistakes

Always was a supporter of India and Sri Lanka has really impressed me the last few years.
England and Australia are also solid teams.

Personally I would support the Zimbabwean team but due to their current situation, I will go for South Africa and Australia

I have a shirt signed by most of the Zimbabwean team too

I would love a shirt signed by M.S. Dhoni

Before leaving Trinidad I saw a couple Twenty20 matches but I'm itching to see a good full 50 overs match

Australia and Bangladesh are my two favourites

The West Indies are indeed in quite a state at the moment, they desperately need some better management sooner rather than later, to see all that talent go to waste is disheartening for all cricket fans.

And I'm hanging out for the Ashes to start, I know exactly where my days off are going in the next few months!

When I do watch cricket, I always cheer for Bangladesh if they're not playing the Aussies.

BANGLADESH!

I actually cheer for Bangladesh against Australia as well, just because I'd like to see them get a fair go against us. When they got us 3/10 odd in the last T20 world cup I was over the moon!

Ashes is a contest decided between Australia and England, a little urn with ashes inside is what the trophy is. Its been that way for at least 100 years.

The first Ashes was in 1882, and each series consists of 5 test matches. Two have already been played so get in quick LG!

And you can read more about the story of The Ashes here:

I should send the Aussie Captain your credentials Sal, the way the Brits hammered your boys the last time out was unexpected to say the least.
