 Anyone know their depression-era cartoons?
A week or two ago I was talking with my youngest sister about when we were little and cable TV in the states still regularly showed depression-era cartoons, and how we always loved this particular little short.
My grandma and her two elder sisters were often together during this time, and such were our comparison to three little sisters in this particular cartoon. Three little chickens with dresses and parasols, and they even had a little song (that, not surprisingly, mentioned "the three little sisters"!). It's been driving me freaking batty trying to remember the name of it.
It must have been anywhere from 10-15 years since I've last seen it. And if I recall, the three little chicken sisters were plagued by either a fox or a hungry cat.
