| Re: So what do you all think about President Obama? I'm still not sure. I give him an A for making an effort, but we are such deep shit right now, it's hard to know what's really going to work. The thing is, the money he is spending now, won't show results for some time, but the Republican yappers are already hammering him after little more than 60 days. You get a longer probabtionary period at McDonalds.

Other than he is weak on foreign affairs, has no clue how to solve the problems at home and he spends hard working americans money like it grows on trees he seems like a nice enough guy. I guess what would you expect from someone whose first real job is as president.

| Re: So what do you all think about President Obama? I'm not really that into politics, but i think that with these next 3 and a half years obama could do some good, I think that really anyone could be president now and not screw us over even worse, but i think he can at least make it a little better |

Be specific. Funny how you say he's spending hard working American's money yet his predecessor spent so much more without a complaint from people like you.

I sure complained about the Bush administration. I hated the money being spent in Iraq, and so much other useless spending. |

My response was to Midnight Rider who is a known Bush supporter. I asked him for specifics and I showed the hypocrisy of his post (complaining about Obama overspending) *chuckle*

So is your problem with what I said or that I supported Bush? I see no hypocrisy in what I said. If I was asked to compare Bush and Obama then I could see a problem but the question was what do I think of Obama as President. I know the hard left loves to throw in the "What about Bush" in response to any criticism but at some point there needs to be some acceptance that Obama is making a mess of it on his own. The latest debacle with Chavez is a prime example of that.

I agree with you on that Midnight Rider. It is also obvious Obama wants government control on everything he can. I am not for big government. Reagan spoke the truth when he said the taxpayers money belongs to the people, not the government. Obama feels the opposite. He would fit in better as the president of Russia. |

One of your main complaints was Obama was spending too much. Show me the figures. We all know Bush spent billions more than any of his predecessors without even a complaint from his devotees. It's like having two neighbors and neighbor A throws 10 lbs of garbage on your lawn and neighbor B throws 100 lbs of garbage on your lawn and when someone asks what you think of your neighbors you say " I hate neighbor A because he spreads garbage on my lawn." yet with no criticism of the other neighbor. That is hypocrisy. I also asked you to be specific yet you could not offer any details. |
The latest debacle with Chavez is a prime example of that.
|
Explain, must have missed that.

How so. Is the private sector gone? Give details. |
I am not for big government.
|
Define big Government. |
Reagan spoke the truth when he said the taxpayers money belongs to the people, not the government.
|
This is just a big empty talking point with no validity. The people vote in a government that handles their tax money so no matter how you twist it the taxpayer's money belongs to the government. Tell me how the actual people can have control of their taxes.
Did Reagan hand over control to the people? How would that be done? |
Obama feels the opposite. He would fit in better as the president of Russia.
|
More empty talking points and false generalizations.
