George grew too fast for her to keep up
and Eric just didn't understand marriage imo...drugs and temptations were more important
I really want to hear Erics take...I never heard him ever trash Patti in interviews...I think he is a gentlemen for that...

| Re: What are you reading? I'm always reading about ghosts and hauntings. The scariest one I've read is this: Amazon.com: The Haunted: One Family's Nightmare (9780312928001):…
Absolutely brilliant - I couldn't put it down once I'd started reading and it actually really spooked me and not many books do that to me. It's the fact that it is supposedly true that freaks me out |

| Re: What are you reading? ^^I never read Horror novels myself...
I think I will dust off my Mission Earth series and read them again, a 10 volume set of total satire by L. Ron Hubbard. I know he is infamous for other things, but his sci-fiction novels are very good. |

| Re: What are you reading? Stephen King is about the spookiest I've read
I prefer an action novel over a horror novel, though I'll read anything really. I've even read a few romance novels |

| Re: What are you reading? I should start reading again!
I went through a huge Stephen King phase and I think The Stand is one of the most epic books of all time especially when it comes to fleshing out so many characters and having you reach a connection with ALL of them.
Probably the closest to romance I've read is High Fidelity but it's a great twist on romance coming from a male perspective! I also thought A Long Way Down by the same author, Nick Hornsby, is great!
I like Hornsby's style because it starts out cynical and humorous but always has an inspiring realistic conclusion? Can anybody think of any authors who write in that style or fit that mold? |
