Post pictures of your pets and tell us about them in this thread.

This is Cowboy .. he's a 4 year old stray that decided in August of 2008 that our house is where he wanted to live.

We gave him his shots and "fixed" him in March of 2009 and in May 2009, he developed cat anemia and almost required a $2,000.00 blood transfusion ... at that point we were looking to rehouse him but once a cat goes past a certain dollar amount at the vet's ... He's home safe.

Cowboy goes for walks (off leash) and is now very strong .... if I'm walking and he races to me and brushes against my leg, I fall on my butt. Twice, Cowboy's raced up to a large dog when Cowboy thought that the dog was menacing me.

Deuce was sneaking off to snooze in a neigbor's stroller that was no longer being used. Deuce has a great cat sense of humor and is great fun.

Unfortunately, he became gravely ill a week after being '"fixed" .. He had a very rare condition which has a 30% survival rate and took years off my life with grief and worry. Fortunately he thrives today.

I'll post that story when I have more time ~

Dagmar is the newest addition to the family. Boston Terrier mix. As a single dad with two boys we needed a bitch in the clan

Ginger has been with me now for over sixteen years. She wasn't more than a year old when this was taken. With proper care the vet said she might see eighteen or better. She knows all my secrets, and I love her dearly.

^^^ That's a fine looking dog and kudos to you as 16 years old with a view to 20 says a lot about the care and love given to Ginger.

The trouble that I have with males (cats) is that they love to fight and have "hated" enemies ... My vet doesn't hate this and since the woman down the block whose cat fights with Cowboy and I go to the same vet ... our 'boys" are putting his kids thru college.

My compliments to everyone so far, some really nice pets in here.

Here's my "Mini Siberian Tigress",,,she might be only 7+ lbs, but she thinks she is the boss, at least of me. No matter what I am doing she has to interrupt, whether it's sitting on the couch, she'll jump up and nudge me off it, or drinking a glass of water, she'll have to let me give her some, or spending time on my PC's, she'll come over and start chewing on the wires and cables. She simply Won't take no for an answer. But despite all that she is a riot, almost as many Dog characteristics as feline ones. She is just over 4 years old now, and has never been sick so I'm thankful for that.

My Dad's old cat used to love chasing our slot racing cars around too,,,but she was an elephant had to be about 14 lbs. so when she got excited things went flying everywhere.

Here's our newest member, Lemmy (9 months), who we got about a month ago. We have a 1 1/2 year old cat & figured she needed a playmate because our other 2 females are 13 & 16.
