I like some of the older musicals i guess because of my mom..
Singing in the rain
Wicked (just seen that a couple of years ago)
The sound of music
Phantom of The Opera
The pirate queen
I'm not familiar with "Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog". What's it like?
It's a low budget 45 minute show, released exclusively on the internet during the writers strike last year.
It's about an aspiring villian who is desperately trying to get into the Evil League of Evil, whilst building the confidence to ask out the girl he goes to the laundromat to see. It's got plenty of laughs, a surprisingly good plot and story, and great music too.
I just really really want to share this song with everyone. I've been cracked out on it for over a month and it's worked it's way into the slot of the most played song on my iTunes.
I give you "Midnight Radio" from Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It reminds me in ways of the early David Bowie collaborations with Iggy Pop.

Jersey Boys the documentary style musical of the lives of Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons is coming to Sydney after a very popular run in Melbourne. I will definitely be going to see it
I typically hate musicals, but there is one exception so far: Tommy (The Who's rock opera). Now that was a great musical, assuming it's considered a musical. Well, I say it is anyway
Not sure if this counts, but it's the only live musical I've seen.....
Jeff Wayne's War Of The Worlds
It's good but not a patch on the original album with Phil Lynott, Julie Covington, Justin Hayward, Chris Thompson and David Essex....and, of course, Richard Burton.
