This is a female artist that kinda flew below the radar, but I always thought she was talented, especially in the blues vocals and guitar work.

Susan Tedeschi ; born November 9, 1970, is an American blues and soul musician, who has received multiple Grammy Award nominations, and is well-known for her singing voice, guitar playing, stage presence, and marriage to blues guitarist Derek Trucks. She is also known for her performances as part of "Soul Stew Revival", a conglomeration of her band, The Derek Trucks Band, and assorted other personnel.

Rock me Right was probably one of the first songs I heard by her. It is quite powerful! I got to see her in Austin back in the late 90's. Hmm, maybe it was early 2000... *shrug*

I saw Derrick Trucks live in 2005, he is amazing. I have listened to Susan before and she is incredible too. The thing I saw Derrick at was the Eric Clapton tour, with Derrick Trucks and Robert Cray Band. Best concert of my life (so far).
