I agree! Howlin' Wolf was already a legend by the time the British Invasion broke! And the "London Howlin' Wolf Sessions" is an album that does a great job of showcasing his talents.  | |

^^^ Agreed I have the London Sessions on vinyl and disc just a fantastic sample of the Wolf mixing it with the UK's top musos and the man gives Eric a lesson in how it's done much to the joy of Clapton.

I agree RS ,, I got it on vinyl in the eighties and again on cd a few years ago. For my money it's just a great showcase for the array of musicians that feature on it and with Wolf at the helm the sound is complete .. it just works.

He was the headliner at the Chicago Blues Festival 2010...I wasn't able to see him, but I got a t-shirt, and he was on the front. It definately would have been a cool act to see. Definately a blues legend! | |
